The Facilities Management System (FMS) has been created to help the campus manage its space more effectively. Campus users can access data and, in most cases, related floor plans, via the web. Units also have the ability to track the occupants of the space through an interface with PPS. UCR's bi-annual facilities inventory survey is completed using this system.

Similar to the financial systems, this system has transactors, reviewers, and inquirers and access to the system is granted by SAAs through the campus web-based EACS interface. Transactors update room use information and reviewers are notified of any changes via email in a manner similar to the Post Audit Notification (PAN).

GAINING ACCESS TO FMS

The Security Access Administrator (SAA) for your department/organization will grant you access to FMS in the Enterprise Access Control System (EACS). For directions on giving access through EACS, please visit the EACS website.
